The Murids ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through themurids.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, write to manjani@themurids.com.
What we collect
When you join our waiting list, we collect:
- your full name;
- either your email address or your mobile phone number, depending on how you would like to be notified;
- your preferred notification method (email or text message); and
- a record of your consent: the statement you agreed to and the date and time you agreed.
Our hosting provider also processes standard technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver the website securely and to filter spam. We do not use advertising trackers or sell your information.
How we use it
We use your information only to tell you when The Murids launches and to share closely related launch news. We will not use it for unrelated marketing, and we will not sell, rent, or trade it.
Text messages
If you choose text message notifications, you agree to receive launch-related text messages from The Murids at the number you provide. Message frequency is low. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help, or email us at manjani@themurids.com. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase. Mobile information is not shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.
If you choose email notifications, every message we send will include a way to unsubscribe. You can also ask to be removed at any time by writing to manjani@themurids.com.
Where your information is stored
Waiting-list submissions are stored with our website host, Netlify, Inc., and are transmitted over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Access is limited to the people who run The Murids. If we later use a dedicated email or text-message service to send launch announcements, it will process your contact details only on our behalf and for that purpose.
How long we keep it
We keep waiting-list information until the launch announcements are complete or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first, unless we need to keep a record of your consent or opt-out to meet a legal obligation.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information, or to stop contacting you, at any time by writing to manjani@themurids.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them.
Children
The waiting list is intended for people aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has joined, please contact us and we will delete the information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
